Lone Cactus Motel, a STAC.
The first artifact of "Carchitecture" line called STAC is a set of brightly painted wooden blocks and thoughtfully picked design cues. It all comes together to form a quintessential mid-century roadside motel, the imaginary Lone Cactus. Its scale works with a line of cars, and pairs beautifully with the Lone Cactus totem sign.
A step-by-step manual is also included to help with set up.
At Candylab, there has a clear and enthusiastic mission: to make the absolute best wooden toy vehicles on the market. They believe in the extensive use of natural materials, unique craftsmanship, and steadfast adherence to principles of the mid-century pioneers of modern design.
Candylab has built a faithful following around the world. Discerning parents equally saturated with the forgettable mass-market plastic toys, collectors, and design buffs everywhere took notice.
Mass-produced plastic as a material is barely older than a century, yet humanity managed to drown an entire planet with it in a geological blink of an eye. And we have centuries left to live with the amounts we produced so far, with no sign of slowing down.
